Farm Animals

Chickens and goats provide an important source of food, from eggs to milk to meat.  They can also lead to life-sustaining mico-industries for their owners and their families.  It may sound strange, but the gift of farm animals is truly a gift from Heaven.

A pig is a valuable source of protein, income from the sale of the offspring, and manure will help nourish crops and soil therefore increasing crop production.  Pigs need very little space and can thrive on crop scraps.  An average sow can provide a family with up to 16 piglets a year.  Pigs usually grow up to 200 pounds in 6 months.  This fast growing animal will provide communities with offspring and training will help struggling families in Montrouis gain self-reliance.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
