Please join us this year to honor Tara DiDomenico. A beautiful 25 yr. old woman, who was a wonderful friend and supporter of our mission team and Haitian Creation fund raisers, Tara passed away suddenly this past April. To honor the life she lived and to support the Life Connection community in Haiti, HC5 will be dedicated to Tara. Tara would be pleased to know that the money we raise this year will be used to create a benevolent fund for the elderly women in the community. Many of the women no longer have male relatives to support them so are left without clean water, shelter, food and medical care, the most basic necessities of life. All funds raised in excess of what is needed will be used towards school construction and expansion.
Our trip this year to Montrouis, Haiti was again enlightening and challenging. Due to your generosity, we were able to provide 4 medical clinics, put a roof on Micheline’s (a cook at the school) home, provide a meal at a homeless shelter and provide health education classes to the Church community and the entire school. The people in the community were like sponges during the classes, taking notes, asking questions and scouring the health manuals provided.
Thank you for your past support of Haitian Creation. To date HC has raised in excess of $60,000.00. This past year’s funds were used for the rice for the Christmas Program, which distributed 50 lb bags of rice to over 500 families. May God Bless you for your contributions and we hope to see you at HC5.
We thank you for your past support and hope to see you on Saturday November 19th at Haitian Creation 5 (6:00 pm to 10:30 pm):
Where: The Burning Bridge Tavern 108 Hellam St. Wrightsville, PA 717-252-2468

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. -Matthew 25: 35-36
